The SIOR Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to promote and support initiatives that expand, educate, and enrich the commercial real estate community.  Established in 1962 to publish the industry’s first graduate-level textbook on industrial real estate, the Foundation offers its own direct scholarships as well as collaborating with other organizations and SIOR Chapters to provide funding for a variety of educational initiatives to enhance the commercial real estate community.

Chapter Matching Scholarship
The SIOR Foundation provides scholarship matching funds to SIOR Chapters and individual SIOR members for scholarships issued to students in certificate or degree granting programs in commercial real estate.

Mildred C. Hanson, SIOR Memorial Fund Scholarship
The Mildred C. Hanson, SIOR Memorial Fund will award a $3,000 scholarship to a qualified female student enrolled in a program of study designed in pursuit of a undergraduate degree in an accredited four-year college or university program in Real Estate, or Business or Finance with a concentration in Real Estate. Rising juniors and above are eligible to apply. Deadline for application submission is Friday, August 12, 2011 by 5:00 PM EDT.
